Details

Gebruder Wolff was one of the premier trade manufactories of the mid 19th to early 20th centuries based in Kreuznach, Germany making consistently high quality instruments.

With its highly flamed maple back and top quality spruce top, all covered in a warm gold varnish, this is a visually striking violin.

It is a bright, deep, colourful sounding violin with rich overtones response and powerful projection. It is well balanced across the strings and responds easily to the bow, giving a very clear sound and precise articulation … a really terrific violin!
