Details

With its distinctive craquelured varnish, one piece back and aged patina, this violin has a warmth lacking in more modern factory produced violins.

Its light weight contributes to a great sound that is closer to what one would expect of a full size instrument. It is very responsive from the lowest to highest positions; clear and evenly balanced; incredibly resonant with a focussed, bright tone and good carrying power. Powerful and sweet at high registers, it has a bold, vibrant bass.

An ideal instrument for a promising young player.
