Volker needs little introduction to the Melbourne violin making scene. The older brother of Rainer, he has been an active maker and restorer in Melbourne for in excess of twenty years and is the first port of call for many leading musicians.

This violins is based on his own individual model, it has has a full, rich sound and is finished in a golden brown, shaded darker in plces, with an induced craquelle in simulation of an antique pattern.
