Made by the French firm Jerome Thibouville-Lamy around 1900, this 16” viola is from their “Medio-Fino” range.

Usually utilising quite plain woods and a combination of hand and machine construction, the Medio-Fino instruments are inexpensive antique instruments for the intermediate student.
