Berg Bows have always provided the benchmark that other composite bow makers strive to attain. Developed in New Zealand by double bass player, Bob Berg, these bows, manufactured from space age material, were taken up by bow maker Michael Duff who moved production to the United States.
Each bow is laid up in the mould by hand and its subsequent responsiveness is computer tested and analysed against similar data obtained from an original example of the great French Master being modelled (e.g. Tourte, et al).
